Getting Straight to the Smile with Orthodontic Appliances
At OrthoTime, we want your child’s smile to be straight and beautiful. We do all that we can to ensure that proper bite is restored, teeth are aligned, and the jaw is in optimal position. Sometimes creating corrective treatments for your child includes using various types of orthodontic appliances.
We use quad helix, fixed lingual arch (FLA), and nance appliances. The quad helix appliance helps create more space by widening the jaws, allowing for the straightening of crowded teeth. The fixed lingual arch appliance holds the back molars in place, preventing them from shifting forward. And the nance appliance can also be used to hold back the molars as well as moving anterior teeth backward.
